RETURN TO GALLIFREY!

T all started while the 14th doctor was traveling in the tardis
traversing the time vortex. the date--october fifth, 2009.
K-9--"master, my internal sensors are registering a tear in the time
vortex" The doctor goes to look at the tardis sensors--they reveal a
glowing rip in the vortex, sizzling with magnetic and temporal
energies. The doctor used the tardis scanners to scan the internal of
the rift. The results soon turn up on the tardis computer screens. "
HMM, According to this, the rift circumvents , that is to say , it goes
in the past before the time war. THIS bears further investigation. K-9,
my old friend, we are going into the rift." THE doctor programs the
tardis navigational computer with new coordinates. THE tardis starts up
with the old familiar hum . and soon the tardis is going into the rift.
IT dematerializes and rematerializes on the other side of the rift. The
doctor looks at the temporal readings on his computer . What her sees,
shocks him. "THE readings says that we have materialized on GALLIFREY
one year before the time war. Some one has gone to alot of trouble to
go around the time lock and return to Gallifrey. " K-9-"Affirmative,
master" The doctor turns on the outside monitor-"It would appear that
gallifey looks the same as the last time i had been here eons ago." he
smiles to k-9 as he looked at the outside viewer. Then he goes to the
tardis door and opens the doors and goes out. HE locks the tardis doors
and before he can get very far--he sees 3 people in front of him. IT's
the castellan and two of his gaurds. THE castellan--"HALT! Who are you
and how did you get that series 55 tardis?"

"Think of it this way," I said. "Anything that is conceivable will eventually happen in some universe. This just happens to be the universe in which I happened."

I took a deep breath, nodded to The Doctor, and put my head band on. My entire being buzzed and hummed. For a brief terrifying moment, a wave of foreign memories & emotions pummeled me like a million stones being thrust at me in the town square.

"Aderic, forgive me!" I cried, seeing the ship crash into prehistoric Earth. "Rose, hold on Rose! Donna, oh God, if only you could remember." Tears washed my face as each new loss consumed me.

Suddenly, as if a switch had been thrown, my mind became one with The Doctor's. There was no Doctor, no me, simply We, Us.

The Orb was already a light pink approaching full blow red. At that rate, We knew it would only be a matter of minutes before the Orb turned black, locking Us together forever.

With no time to waste, We approached our enemy.

UNER the strange orb's influence, the doctor and his grandson moved as one toward the unsuspecting raston robot. THEI combined speed and agility proved to be more than the robot could handle. Using a form of ju jitsu combinded with sonic screwdrivers and lazers- tHE doctor and his grandson quickly incapicated the robot by severing it's read from it's body. The robot minus it's head collapsed on the ground in front of them. Seeing thier task was done-the Doctor used his newly advanced telepathic powers to break the connection of the head bands and tore his head band off his head

The Orb had reached charcoal gray by the time We'd defeated the Raston Robot. I quickly tore the band from my head, and felt my mind separating from The Doctor's. Holstering my pistol, I dropped to my knees in a fit of pain and anguish. The emotional part of my psyche felt suddenly abandoned, alone.

Pounding the ground with my fists, I focused on the rational part of my mind, forcing it to take control, to accept the separation. A momentary eternity of agony passed, as the struggle for control engulfed my very essence.

Suddenly, almost magically, the struggle ended. Something was different though, but there was no time to ponder it. I sprang to my feet, and addressed The Doctor and our female companions. "Alrighty then. If everybody's ship shape, we have a universe to save. Funny, all of a sudden I have a craving for jelly babies and an urge to play the recorder. Fascinating."
